Currently we are assisting the mother of the only surviving infant who is now 8 months old. The child has been affected by the infection and will be requiring a lot of aftercare and follow- up visits to Albert Lutheli Hospital. The MF is assisting with the application of grants, and counseling the mother.

The MF believes that on completion of the enquiry, the mothers must be compensated for their losses and the culprits responsible for neglect or commission must be dealt with in the appropriate manner.
