Seen in the photo is MF Leader, Mrs Shameen Thakur Rajbansi with John Sheath, managing director of InjectAChem.
Mr Sheath explained via a power point presentation that he has a proven germ killer that is widely used by Co-operate businesses as well as hospitals and National Parliament to prevent air borne disease from ducted air-conditioning.
He will be presenting this to the Net Care Group, Umhlanga Hospital in particular.
Mrs Rajbansi will put a Motion in Parliament for stricter regulations to be inserted in the National Health Act as well as the KZN Health Act for the prevention of acquired diseases whether the source be airborne or food borne or borne by health care professions as carriers.
Mrs Rajbansi will follow up at a Portfolio Committee level for Policy changers to be made in regard to health care handlers and the prevention of disease spread by the adoption of proper control methods at all levels of our health facilities.
Mrs Rajbansi will then ensure that both National and ProvincialParliament give the necessary funding so that our citizens can go to both Private and public health care facilities without any fear that treatable conditions end up disastrous with untreatable hospital acquired infections.
