Minority Front Councillor Patrick Pillay said that the Minority Front as part of its social responsibility always provide for the needy during the festive period. Although the Leader of the Minority Front Mr A. Rajbansi was in hospital, he requested that the Minority Front continue its social responsibility.
The Minority Front in Ward 51 handed out the many hampers at the Ganesha Temple. Councillor Patrick Pillay said that the community are important and expressed seasons greeting on behalf of Leader Mr A. Rajbansi and Mrs Shameen Rajbansi.
Mr Dennis Govender the Chairperson of the Ganesha Temple said that it is the greatest gesture that the Minority Front always does. The recipients of the MF hampers are appreciative for getting the much needed hamper that will provide a meal for many days.
Mrs A. Lall, a recipient, said that the Minority Front are always with us and ensure that our community are protected and assisted all the time. We are proud of the Minority Front and whenever we receive the MF’s contribution to society, it brings tears to my eyes. We know that the MF cares.
