The MF does not gloat and does not cry. When the MF snatched 3 crucial seats from the DA in Phoenix in 2006 the MF did not gloat. The media would notice that the MF snatched a very crucial seat from the ANC in Ward 90 and MF did not gloat.

We lost Ward 69 not to the ANC but to the delimitation when Lamontville South was brought into Ward 69. With the original boundary the MF would have defeated the ANC by 500 votes.

At this stage the MF won 6 seats with the PR count to be done and the MF is the kings of Phoenix.

Furthermore the MF was faced with a filthy campaign by the DA. They were saying the following:

» MF is a dying party.
» MF is selling their votes to the ANC.
» A vote for the MF is a vote for the ANC.

We had to face this in an atmosphere where there is an automatic surge in the Indian vote. Notwithstanding this on the 18 May 2011 the MF is still the Kings in Chatsworth and Phoenix.

We will not tolerate this nonsensical behavior from the DA again and will report them to the IEC.

We retaliated with compound interest and tremendous fire-power.
