- Impartially: In dealing with people from all political parties, organisations and religious groups.
- Strong Negotiation Skills: In appeasing and satisfying conflicting groups and when dealing with community matters in Council. Should possess adequate conflict resolution skills.
- Self Confidence: When dealing with Council officials in gaining maximum advantage for the community.

- Honesty: When dealing with everyone. If a matter cannot be resolved then the concerned party should know all the facts. No bribery and corruption.
